It has been sometimes since da jiu( my ma's eldest brother) passed away.. 1 month? 2 months? I lost track.. It's till now that i feel his absence..

I attended my uncle's funeral in malaysia. My cousins were crying on and off.. Maybe i didnt live with them before.. so i cant feel his absence.. I'm cold-blooded.. i think..

At last night, my cousins and i sat down for the first time together to chat. I always cant get into their topics and i realised that they avoid talking about da jiu.

On the day when da jiu was to be send to crematorium. My cousin who is the closest to me, cried. She told me how da jiu was a very good uncle to everyone.. I can understand.. My ma told me that he's the best brother she has too. My cousin told me that even when she works very far away from home, she will always ask her bf to stop by da jiu's house to visit him.

Her words reminded me, that during last chinese new year, when my cousins brought their bf to visit da jiu, i told myself that when i have a bf, i will ask him to travel with me to malaysia to visit da jiu too. Da jiu is like everyone's grandpa ever since we lost our grandpa long ago. Everyone will discuss things with him before acting on it.. Everyone respected him and treasured his advises. I also want to show him my bf.. But he's gone..

It's till then that i started crying.. he's gone..
